[ By the time evening rolls around, Xion is still in the hotel lounge, just kind of chilling out. She can't get up the stairs on her own and has no desire to go to bed this early. But it's not like she can walk around town, either.

It seems someone was kind enough to at least bring her a book, as she's got one in her lap. Pluto snoozes beside her, his ears twitching a little bit as she dreams.

Poor Shinnosuke will get caught out by the fact that he uses a walking stick. It's the sound of it tapping that gets her to look up. Otherwise, she might not have noticed him. ]

Shinnosuke! [ She shuts her book ... then pauses, staring at him narrowly. Not that he can tell. ]

... will you come over here, or do I have to make Pluto come get you?

[ Even in his sleep, one of his ears perks up at his name. ]

Shinnosuke deflecting is, sadly enough, far more comfortable territory. Xion huffs at him, but there's no real force behind it. ]

Well, I'm thanking you anyway. Whether you meant to or not, it really helped me. [ A beat, and: ] Anyway, why do you even care if Seizaburo likes me?

Gee, I wonder! It's not like you've ever joked about someone being dead or anything like that. Have you ever thought about trying, I dunno, being nice?

[ If she were close enough she'd poke him in the forehead, but she's not so she can't. Instead she just sticks her tongue out at him, which is the ultimate in childishness since he'll have no idea she's doing it. But whatever, it makes her feel better. ]
